Dr Alana McQueen

Bsc.BHSc(Chiro), MClinChiro(Dist)

Dr Alana McQueen is a second-generation Chiropractor following in the footsteps of her mother. Having been adjusted since a baby Alana has seen first-hand the impact that Chiropractic care can have on your life.

Alana provides chiropractic care to people of all ages, however she has a special interest in chiropractic for children and babies as well as helping women through their pregnancy and postnatal care. Alana loves all things women’s health and will often be found reading books and research articles related to the topic. Alana is passionate about taking a wholistic approach to health and loves sharing information around different aspects of health with her patients.

Growing up in Canberra Alana moved down to Melbourne where she completed a 3-year Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and a 2-year Masters of Clinical Chiropractic, both with distinction at RMIT University in Melbourne. Since completing her degrees, she has gone on to complete a number of courses focusing on paediatric chiropractic and pregnancy care.

Being involved in elite level hockey from a young age, Alana has a great deal of respect for the human body and the demands that we put on it. She is therefore committed to improving body function as well as overall health.

Dr Alana looks forward to creating a strong community of families within the Whittlesea area and being able to help these families with their health.

When not in practice you can find Alana spending time with her family, partner and 2 dogs (who are practically her children!). She also loves cooking food from scratch, getting outdoors and reading a good book.
